Establishing himself as a master percussionist, writer, and producer, Terrell Sass aspires to actualize an immutable footprint that reaches far beyond the musical landscape as we know it today. Perhaps Terrell’s notable success to date can be attributed to his mantra in life, “I can show you better than I can tell you”. Known for providing instrumentation on several grammy nominated, gold and platinum releases with peak chart positions resting at the #1 spot…it’s an understatement to say that his craft speaks well for itself.

Terrell’s musical ability crosses genres and cultures much in the same way his life has. Born November 11, 1984 to a military family, T..Sass began his world touring at an early age living abroad as well as in a variety of locations stateside. This experience was instrumental in the development of his appreciation for a diverse musical background as opposed to being locked into whatever the present day musical trend offered. Terrell’s style of playing is heavily influenced by ‘Lil’ John Roberts, Tom Knight, Craig Harbor, Lemar Carter, Marcus Finne, Travis Barker, and Stokely Williams to name just a few.

In 2006, Terrell joined musical forces as well as initials with John Elmore III a.k.a. “L’Mo” to form the formidable JETS Productions team. This dynamic duo is widely sought after and respected far beyond the urban hip-hop genre. Just as their musical influences cross cultural boundaries, so do their musical abilities which also include rock, country, pop, R&B, gospel, and theatrical productions.

Up and coming artists who’ve observed the end result of releases including a ‘touch of TSass’ are eagerly anticipating their opportunity for a session infused with a perfect balance of creative musicality and individuality. His résumé includes instrumentation on the album TI’s #1 album Paper Trail’s, “You Ain’t Missing Nothing”; and also on his previous #1 album TI vs. TIP (Grand Hustle/Atlantic artist TI), “Show It To Me” featuring Nelly and “Watch What You Say To Me” featuring Jay-Z (Which he played the organ/keyboards); from Rick Ross’ #1 album Trilla (Slip-N- Slide/Def Jam), “Here I Am” featuring Nelly and Avery Storm; from Gangsta Grillz:The Album (Grand Hustle/Atlanta artist DJ Drama), “Cheers” featuring Pharrell Williams and The Clipse; from World Premier (DTP/Def Jam artist Small World), “Mr. Magnificent” featuring Ludacris; as well as independent artists Tamar Davis, Sol Factor, and Ryan Kilgore who all have album release dates in 2009. Terrell has also toured with Tyler Perry’s stage production, The Marriage Counselor, providing percussion for all live performances. 2009 has additionally included performances on the reality TV show Welcome to Dreamland during its grand finale concert.

Silence, patience, and perseverance; these three characteristics as often quoted by Terrell have aided in his innate ability to stay ahead of the musical curve as he continues on his endless quest to expand his musical palette.
